At Nova Suite, we take the security, safety, and integrity of our community seriously. In some cases, our team may deactivate accounts if we determine that the user has violated any of the agreements or policies they agreed to when creating and using their Nova ID.
When We May Deactivate Your Account
Account deactivation can happen for a variety of reasons, including (but not limited to):
Harassment or abusive behavior toward other users
Sharing or posting prohibited content
Attempting to bypass security features
Fraud, scams, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to Nova Suite services or accounts
Violations of intellectual property rights
Any other breach of the Nova Suite Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or product-specific agreements
Deactivations can range in length from 1 hour to 1 month depending on the severity and nature of the violation.
How Deactivations Are Triggered
While some deactivations may be the result of an Account Search (learn more here), most occur following user reports or activity automatically flagged by our systems.
Account Searches are generally reserved for more severe or repeated policy violations, while user-reported issues are typically handled faster and with less formal investigation.
What Happens When Your Account Is Deactivated
If your account is deactivated, you will:
Receive an email notification detailing the reason for the action.
Be unable to log into your Nova ID for the duration of the deactivation.
Be unable to use Sign in with Nova ID on any third-party apps that support it.
In most cases, all of your data will remain intact during the deactivation period unless otherwise specified in the notice you receive.
Disputing a Deactivation
You have the right to dispute the action if you believe it was made in error. Instructions for submitting a dispute will be included in your deactivation email.
However, Nova Suite reserves the right to deny any dispute at our discretion, especially in cases involving clear, repeated, or severe violations.
Why We Do This
Account deactivations are designed to:
Protect other users from harm or abuse
Maintain a safe and compliant community
Give us time to review and assess suspicious or harmful activity without the risk of ongoing misuse
By using Nova Suite, you agree to follow our rules and respect the community. We take violations seriously because our goal is to keep Nova Suite a safe, productive, and respectful environment for everyone.
If you need to appeal or request more details about a deactivation, please follow the instructions in your deactivation email or contact our support team.
