? What is an Account Search?
An Account Search is a formal investigation conducted by xxavvTechnologies when a user is suspected of violating our most serious platform rules, typically involving illegal content, dangerous activity, or credible safety risks.
These are rare and are only triggered in high-risk or high-severity situations where community safety, legal compliance, or user protection is at stake.
? When Are Account Searches Conducted?
We initiate an Account Search only under specific, serious circumstances, including but not limited to:
Suspected upload of illegal material, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), violent threats, or terrorist content
Severe abuse or harassment, particularly involving targeted groups or minors
Use of Nova Suite for criminal activity or exploitation
Flagrant violations of our User Uploads Policy or Acceptable Use Policy
Each case is reviewed carefully by our Trust & Safety team, and we require strong indicators or supporting reports before triggering a full Account Search.
⛔ What Happens During an Account Search?
1. Account Locked
You will receive a notice that your account is under investigation, and you will lose access to all Nova services for the duration of the search.
This prevents potential tampering or deletion of evidence.
2. Internal Review Begins
Our internal team will audit:
Files, documents, and media uploaded
Public and private activity across Nova Suite
Associated metadata and usage patterns
The specifics of this process are confidential for security reasons.
3. Outcome Determination
If the content or behavior is found to violate law or platform rules:
Your account will be permanently terminated
You may be reported to law enforcement
If we cannot make a determination:
We may contact other platforms or services to collect additional context about your activity.

In most cases, account searches do not result in reinstatement.

Do I get a warning before an Account Search?
No. You are only notified when the search begins, not before.
Can I appeal a search or termination?
In most cases, no. Account Searches are reserved for high-severity violations and outcomes are final. If you believe an error occurred, you may contact appeals@novasuite.one within 5 days.
What if I uploaded something by accident?
Intent is considered during review, but for severe content (like CSAM or threats), even accidental uploads will result in permanent action.
Will I be able to access my data during the search?
No. Your account is locked for the duration of the investigation.
How long do searches take?
Typically 2-5 business days, but longer if law enforcement or external parties are involved.
Will I know what was found?
We do not provide detailed findings. If your account is reinstated, you will be notified. If it is terminated, you will receive a final notice.
