How to Sign Up for a Nova ID

Nova ID lets you access all Nova services with a single, secure account. The sign-up process is designed to be user-friendly and secure, with options for both email/password and social login. Here’s how you can create your Nova ID:


1. Go to the Registration Page

  • On the homepage, click the "Create Nova ID" button or go directly to /register.


2. Choose Your Sign-Up Method

Email & Password:

  • Enter your email address.
  • Create a strong password (the form will show you the password strength).
  • Confirm your password.

Social Login:

  • You can also sign up using Google, GitHub, or Twitter by clicking the respective button.


3. Enter Personal Information

  • After the initial step, you’ll be asked for your first name (required) and last name (optional).


4. Accept Agreements


5. Review and Submit

  • Review your information on the summary screen.
  • Click "Create Account" to complete registration.


6. Email Verification

  • After submitting, check your email for a verification link.
  • Click the link to activate your Nova ID.


7. First Login and Profile Setup

  • Once verified, you’ll be redirected to your account dashboard.
  • You can further personalize your profile and set up security features like two-factor authentication.


Tips

  • Use a strong password (at least 8 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols).
  • You can always link social accounts later in your account settings.
  • If you forget your password, use the "Forgot password?" link on the login page.


Security

Nova ID supports two-factor authentication for enhanced security. You can enable this in your account’s security settings after registration.
